Certain travelers are granted a free entry visa upon arrival, in accordance with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) law, provided they depart from Jordan via Aqaba and fully comply with the free visa regulations.

 

Important Notes:

If departing Jordan via any other border crossing (other than Aqaba), a visa fee is required.

Some nationalities, particularly restricted nationalities, require prior security approval or a visa.

It is always advisable to check the latest requirements with the Jordanian embassy or official channels before traveling, as regulations may change without prior notice.

 

• Upon arrival in Nuweiba (Egypt):

 

There are two main entry systems to Egypt via Nuweiba Port:

 

1. South Sinai Visa (Free):

This visa is granted to unrestricted nationalities, upon arrival, and is valid for 15 days only.

The tourists must stay within the South Sinai area (Taba, Nuweiba, Dahab, and Sharm El-Sheikh).

This visa cannot be used to leave Sinai for other areas in Egypt.

 

2. Full-Term Egypt Visa:

Single-entry visa: USD 25

Multiple-entry visa: USD 60

Long-term tourist visa (5 years): USD 700

3. Baggage and Inspection

 

Permissible total weight for each passenger: up to 300 kg which can be divided into a maximum of 8 pieces, whilst the maximum weight allowed for a single piece is less than 60 kg.

Baggage must be packed in sealed bags or cartons (maximum 90 x 90 cm).

If the weight or number of pieces exceeds the stated allowed figures, a fee of $15 will be charged for each additional piece or every 10 kg excess.

Prohibited or dangerous items are not allowed onboard.

Cash, gold, or valuables must be declared by the passengers.

Violation of the baggage policy may result in denied boarding.

Passenger information must be affixed to the baggage.

The maximum compensation for lost baggage shall not exceed the ticket value, provided that a prompt notification is made by the passenger upon arrival.

Additional fees apply to any baggage of commercial nature regardless of weight.
