Description
  • Obtain international traffic book (Trip ticket) from the Royal Automobile Club in Amman or any other authority.
  • Stamp the Trip ticket from customs, and if the driver has no Trip ticket, the Egyptian customs imposes a fine as an issuing Trip ticket fees.
  • Pay the departure tax of the car.
  • Procure shipping permit for the car from the Arab Bridge Company or their authorized agents.
  • The driver must carry proof of vehicle ownership or authorization from the owner to drive and use the car.
  • The driver and passenger must execute the travel procedures for passengers mentioned in the travel procedures.

Description
  • The following procedures are made within the passenger terminal/Aqaba
  • Procure car shipping permits from the Arab Bridge Maritime Company.
  • State the export incident on the shipping permit.
  • Stamp the customs declaration papers for the car from Customs.
  • The driver and passenger must execute the travel procedures for passengers mentioned in the travel procedures.

Instructions for private cars of Arabs and foreigners arriving to the Kingdom for the purposes of temporary residence:
Description
  1. The cars are given a stay of three months by the Center immediately upon entry for the first time, accompanied by the owner or his authorized representative, provided that there is no repeated previous entry in the absence of Trip ticket.
  2. The cars are given a stay of six months by the Center immediately upon entry for the first time, accompanied by the owner or his authorized representative, provided that there is no repeated previous entry in the existence of Trip ticket, and to be renewed for a further two months by the foreign cars office in Amman Customs.
  3. Stay of cars may be renewed for another five months by the foreign cars office in Amman Customs, which had previously been given a three-month period by the entering center if there are guarantees (Trip ticket) subsequently.
  4. Stamping the car specifications on the Trip ticket at the exit and entry. A copy of the voucher shall be produced for the purposes of follow-up and the car specifications are affixed on the passport of the owner or who is authorized to drive (representative) in the absence of the Trip ticket.
  5. The car is given one-month period by the entering center if the car was loaded on a truck until the owner or representative contacts the department to renew the residence.
